Guided by Light, Grounded by Care.

Our Vision

From darkness into healing, growth, and light.

To build a leading mental health organization that transforms lives by restoring hope, strengthening resilience, and guiding individuals and communities from darkness into healing, growth, and light.

Through compassionate, community-centered care, outreach, and education, we aim to expand access to mental health resources and cultivate a brand that uplifts, empowers, and strengthens the communities we serve.

Our Core Values

The principles that guide every decision.

— 01

Compassionate Care

We believe every individual deserves to be treated with dignity, empathy, and respect. We are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and understood.

— 02

Restoring Hope

Hope is essential to healing. We strive to help individuals rediscover hope even during life’s most difficult seasons and support them in moving toward recovery and finding their inner light.

— 03

Resilience & Growth

The human spirit is remarkably resilient. We believe that challenges can become opportunities for growth, strength, and transformation when individuals are supported with compassionate and thoughtful care.

Whole-Person Wellness

Mental health is interconnected with physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. We approach care holistically, recognizing that every individual’s story and needs are unique.

The People Behind the Practice

The team behind the light.

Morning Light Wellness was built by two people who believe care should feel as human as the people it serves.

Meet Dr. Javier Aget-Torres.

A first-generation Cuban immigrant, board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and clinician whose career has been shaped by service, resilience, and a deep commitment to those he cares for.

He completed his advanced training at Columbia University School of Nursing — earning his Master of Science in Nursing, his Post-Master’s Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing, and his Doctor of Nursing Practice — and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

His experience spans the full continuum of psychiatric care, from Assertive Community Treatment and Intensive Mobile Treatment teams in New York City to outpatient and crisis psychiatry across the lifespan. That work has shaped a philosophy rooted in person-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care — a belief that healing happens when evidence-based treatment is paired with genuine human connection.

Morning Light Wellness was built around that conviction: that exceptional psychiatric care should be accessible, personalized, and unhurried. Guided by light, grounded by care.

Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer

Meet Natalie Becerra.

Natalie Becerra is Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Morning Light Wellness, where she brings strategy, structure, and intention to a deeply human-centered care experience. Her work is grounded in a simple belief: the systems behind care should reflect the same warmth as the care itself.

A graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Natalie has long been drawn to understanding human behavior and supporting the wellbeing of others. Her foundation in psychology, paired with experience supporting executive leadership and managing complex operations, allows her to bridge the human and operational sides of the practice.

At Morning Light Wellness, Natalie leads the development of the operational infrastructure — making sure every patient interaction, from the first point of contact through ongoing care, feels seamless, supportive, and intentionally designed. Her work allows our clinical team to remain fully present with patients while maintaining excellence across the organization.

Beyond her professional work, Natalie is committed to giving back to her community. She has dedicated time to mentoring youth and supporting initiatives across Las Vegas, driven by the belief that meaningful change begins with connection, guidance, and access to opportunity — values she carries directly into her leadership at Morning Light Wellness.
