Morning Light Wellness & Psychiatry, PLLC ("MLW," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us through our website, www.morninglightwellnessnv.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

 

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through our Site. It does not apply to Protected Health Information (PHI) that MLW collects and uses in the course of providing clinical care, which is governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, provided to you separately at intake and available upon request.

2. Information We Collect

  • Contact and Inquiry Information: When you submit a form on our Site (such as a contact form, appointment request, or “Book Now” inquiry), we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.

 

  • Automatically Collected Information: Like most websites, our Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies, including analytics tools, to collect information about how visitors use the Site, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring website.

 

  • Telehealth Scheduling Information: If you schedule a telehealth (virtual) appointment through our Site or a linked platform, we collect the information needed to schedule that visit, such as your name, contact information, and appointment details. Clinical information exchanged during a telehealth visit becomes part of your medical record and is protected under HIPAA, not this Policy.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

 

  • Respond to inquiries and appointment requests

  • Schedule and manage appointments, including telehealth visits

  • Communicate with you about our services

  • Improve our Site and understand how visitors use it

  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

4. Cookies and Analytics

Our Site uses analytics and tracking tools (such as Google Analytics and/or Wix Analytics) to collect aggregate, non-identifying information about Site usage, including the categories described in Section 2 above. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some Site features. Our Site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.​

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share the categories of information described above with:
 

  • Service providers who help us operate our Site, manage appointments, or deliver telehealth services (for example, Wix or a scheduling/telehealth platform), who are contractually obligated to protect your information
     

  • Parties as required by law, or to protect the safety of any person

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information
collected through our Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we
cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices and Nevada Privacy Rights

You may contact us at any time with questions about the information we collect, to request that we delete non-clinical contact information you submitted through our Site, or to ask about our data practices.

Nevada residents: Nevada law (NRS Chapter 603A) permits Nevada consumers to submit a request directing an operator of a website not to sell certain covered information collected about the consumer. MLW does not sell covered information collected through this Site. In addition, as a HIPAA-covered entity, MLW is exempt from certain provisions of NRS 603A applicable to the sale of covered information. If you have questions or would like to submit a request under NRS 603A, please contact us using the information in Section 10 below.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our Site.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" above reflects the most recent revision.
